One of our hotel's greatest attributes is our central Boulder location. On a quiet night you can walk to a movie, on a warm night to the Pearl Street Mall, or one of scores of restaurants in the immediate area. We are close to the Boulder Creek Path, shopping and the 29th Street Mall. The newly developed 29th Street Mall placed twenty to thirty restaurants, a brand new 24 screen movie pavilion, and more open-air shops reminiscent of Pearl Street, right at your door step.
The Buff:
The 'Buff' Restaurant has been a local favorite for many years astounding patrons with its exciting breakfast and lunch menu. Far from the fare you'd expect at a hotel coffee shop or the service you might receive from a chain, the Buff is sure to impress. Breakfast and lunch are served daily from 6:30am
until 2pm.
High-speed internet access: A safe connection!
Our hotel is hardwired for free internet access in every room. You may have heard, lately, about the peril information on your computer may be in when you are logged onto a wireless connection; basically anyone using the same antennae may have access to your hard drive. While no internet connection is completely safe and, we can in no way guarantee the safety of your computer, we have taken strides to make our link more secure. We use the highest quality Cisco managed firewalls and switches that are port addressed to each room to help alleviate some potential risks. At up to three megabytes of bandwidth available and a patch cable supplied by us, you are certain to enjoy this aspect of your stay.
Local Boulder Cable:
At the Golden Buff you are not relegated to watching one of eight or ten pre-selected channels. We offer, in all rooms, the expanded local Comcast cable feed plus HBO, a package that currently includes approximately 80 channels. And every room on our property has at least a 27" remote television to expand your viewing pleasure.
Outdoor Pool:
The pool at the Golden Buff Lodge is a treat that is almost original to the hotel. It is constructed of a beautiful blue mosaic tile that would be nearly impossible to replicate today. Our certified staff handles management onsite to insure the cleanest, safest, water possible. Clean white towels are provided pool side.
Neutrogena:
New to all rooms is our Neutrogena bath dispenser, supplying Neutrogena shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel of the quality for which they are renowned. With these genuine products you can feel comfortable leaving large, messy bottles of shampoo and conditioner behind!
Health Club:
On site we have a small workout area with a universal gym, two bikes and a treadmill. Also in this area is a large hot tub and his and hers saunas. If you are in the mood for a more serious workout, a pass to Boulder's premier heath facility Flatirons Athletic Club may be purchased at the front desk for five dollars (approximately half the normal walk-in rate).
